Some times I just need to have someone let me know it's ok to take the step back to move forward. I appreciate you giving me the football scenario, it helps me clarify why I feel this way.. it's hard to explain to close friends why the step back and now I feel justified!! thanks – Kirsten

I think that this response is totally brilliant and hits it on the head for me! Matt has really taken the time to try to answer every single angle that he can and has made me feel better about myself as well as trying to help my issues. He has answered everything really well as far as I'm concerned and I would feel like I had value for money. I liked it being a long response as well, give me more to digest.

I received an excellent response from a guy named David.
His response was detailed and very insightful, as well as being funny.
I'm female, so are most of my friends, so most of the advice about men I receive is from a female point of view. While it's great to get advice from close caring friends, sometimes I think that there are times when only a impartial male perspective on a problem and its solution is needed. Thank you David, your help is very much appreciated.

I would like to give a big thank you to Tim.
His well thought out reply gave me a fresh perspective on my problem and (as well as the response that I received from David) has allowed me to come up with a more productive route to solving it.

Hopefully I'll never need to contact you again!!! But I am comforted by the knowledge that if I need a honest, thoughtful and helpful (male)perspective on a problem that the men at Ask A Man can help.

The ask-a-man site is very easy.
I prefer asking by email as I find it easier to marshall my thoughts and explain things clearly on paper than on the phone and so I think the email option is very good. The advice that I have received from Matt was absolutely excellent. What was so good about it was that I didn't say everything in the email but he could tell all sorts of things from what I wrote which means he must be extremely perceptive. I will definitely follow the advice and take his notes of caution into consideration. If all your operators are this good then this site is going to be fantastic.

At last! I was pleasantly surprised.
All the answers were similar which I think is a good thing as they must be right then. (joke) All the feedback was articulate and logical. Most important of all it was inspiring and uplifting in a fair and reasonable way. I did think i knew all the answers and guess what I don't. The most impressive thing for me was the fact that I now realise just how scared and under confident men can be. Just because they put on the bravado means nothing. In the future i would probably take a few more chances. I would definitely use the service again and TOTALLY RECOMMEND it to all.

I particularly liked Callum's advice.
He puts things well and gives good advice. I felt it was personal and well balanced. I found myself listening to what he had to say. He opened it well and has good use of language. Liked the way he questioned my thinking to help me to reflect more deeply. Good comments about men in the past being different from today. I also prefer it when the comments/issues flow into each other. it feels more like a conversation, if that makes sense. They both came across as warm guys which is the main thing-not robot like.
